This page has links to fellow writers, conventions, and great bookstores I've visited during the past several years. I encourage you to browse around and visit them. I'll continue to update this as I gather links.
Colleagues
- Steven Barnes' Dar Kush blog has lots of interesting observations on the craft of writing.
- Mark Bloom was the best man at our wedding, and he may be the best writer you don't know. He has a great travel blog.
- Just met Mark LaFlamme, who is a baseball fan and novelist. He has an entertaining site.
- My old buddy Tee Morris is always informative and entertaining on his site.
- Rob Sawyer has a great web site, if he does say so himself. And he does.
- Wen Spencer continues to impress and amaze. See what's happening at her site.
Conventions
- Worldcon 2009 will take place in Montréal. I will be in attendance.
- Worldcon 2010 will take place in Melbourne, Australia. I will not be in attendance unless wondrous things happen. However, I expect to attend NASFiC, which appears to be headed for Raleigh, North Carolina.
- We have presupported the 2011 Worldcon bids for Reno and Seattle.
- We have not yet presupported the 2012 Worldcon bid for Chicago. However, we did support the 2008 bid and received an unexpectedly courteous thank you from the bid committee, so we will probably presupport this one as well.
- WSFS.org is the main site for the World Science Fiction Society. Check there for further information on upcoming Worldcons.
